(also even though I was aware of someone would get hit by a bus it 1000% still got me□) So anyway Yesterday I went and saw "Mean Girls 2024" And I genuinely loved it, it was fun, funny, I liked the songs, and of course Renne Rapp stole the show. I saw a lot of people doing that with "The Little Mermaid" when the live action came out and thought it'd be a good idea. Opening weekend (last week) I decided to just go into this new movie blind and free of the "well nothing can beat the original" mindset that tons of people have just because. When I first heard about the new musical adaption film with Renne Rapp a few months ago I decided that I needed to obviously watch the original first but never got around to actually watching it. I had never seen the original "Mean Girls" film, which is surprising for me because I love Lindsey Lohan and this movie was obviously huge deal when it came out and still is. |
